Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Experience in software development, cybersecurity, or a related area
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- Familiarity with F-35 software development
- Active Security Clearance
- Preferred 4+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in embedded software development (C, C++, Rust, etc.)
- Knowledge of front-end development (React, JavaScript, etc.)
- Experience with scripting and CI tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Python, Bash, etc.)
- Exposure to containerization tools (Podman, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Understanding of databases (SQL, Postgres, Microsoft SQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of Linux OS and Windows OS
- Familiarity with secure coding practices, cryptographic protocols, and threat modeling techniques
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies such as vulnerability scanners and incident response
- Awareness of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and standards
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to adapt and collaborate across diverse teams
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational capabilities
- Proactive self-starter with a quick learning ability and the capacity to work independently
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions and tools to tackle complex cyber threats
- Perform thorough assessments of code to identify security vulnerabilities and outline potential attack vectors
- Collaborate with Software Development teams to incorporate static and dynamic testing capabilities into their software workflows
- Design, implement, and integrate tools to automate the security assessment of software products
- Execute fuzz testing protocols on embedded systems to discover hidden vulnerabilities and reinforce defenses against potential attacks
- Assess open-source packages for vulnerabilities and potentially harmful software
- Offer guidance and expertise to team members on cybersecurity best practices and effective threat modeling techniques
- Serve as a subject matter expert in both cybersecurity and software development, providing insights across various Lines of Business
