Requirements
Must:
- Proven track record in managing complex cloud migration initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Skilled in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
- Expertise in Linux and Windows system administration
- Strong grasp of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
- U.S. citizenship required with the capability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive cloud architecture blueprints (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) aligned with business goals, integrating multi-cloud and hybrid strategies where necessary
- Oversee the complete cloud solution delivery process, from gathering requirements to launching and optimizing the production environment
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, security, compliance, and operational teams to convert business requirements into effective cloud designs
- Guide and mentor junior architects and engineers, nurturing a culture of continuous learning and cloud-first mindset
- Analyze Department of Defense Security Technical Implementation Guides (DoD STIGs) and address vulnerabilities within information systems to ensure security compliance
- Offer on-site and remote support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for development and testing teams within Integrated Development Environments
- Work with cross-functional teams both within Lockheed Martin and with external subcontractors
- Actively engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to promote consistent delivery of high-quality solutions
