Requirements
Must:
- 3 years of experience in C-130 Aircraft systems operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Minimum of 3 years as a Lockheed Martin C-130 Field Service Engineer
- Knowledge of C-130 Avionics and Electrical Systems
- Familiarity with US Government and/or Foreign Military Customer Operational Sites
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field is a plus
- Experience with troubleshooting, operation, and inspection methods for mechanical systems and AE2100D3 Engines is advantageous
- Familiarity with commercial aircraft operations in a high-tempo environment is beneficial
- Holder of relevant commercial certifications and licenses is a plus
- Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills
- Experience in planning and scheduling approved maintenance programs
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with aircraft operators
- Proven teamwork ability and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Keen ability to quickly learn and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Provide expert solutions for aircraft maintenance and data system challenges
- Advise on the use and interpretation of C-130J technical documentation and engineering change proposals
- Analyze and suggest enhancements related to aircraft data download interpretation and troubleshooting algorithms
- Serve as a communication bridge for maintenance and operational issues among teams
- Engage with both customers and internal personnel at various levels
- Utilize computer software, including MS Office and Excel, effectively
- Travel across the continental U.S. as required
- Attend training sessions to further enhance knowledge of aircraft systems
