Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited institution in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proficiency in C++ and Object-Oriented design
- Experience with software development on Linux or similar preemptive operating systems
- Capability to secure an interim Secret security clearance prior to commencement of employment
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or SVN
- Understanding of Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) design principles
- Knowledge of containerized development and deployment environments
- Experience with Data Distribution Service (DDS)
- Familiarity with Yocto OS development
Responsibilities
- Create and sustain embedded software applications and/or desktop software
- Engage in requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and integration of software for an embedded multi-core system and desktop applications for sensor and countermeasures emulation
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality software products
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices
