Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field.
- Demonstrable expertise in implementing and debugging AMBA interfaces such as AXI and AHB.
- Strong comprehension of networking protocols.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
- Proficiency in HDL programming with VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.
- Prior experience in technical leadership is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of ASIC and FPGA development from capturing initial requirements to architecture, design, analysis, simulation, and testing in a Linux-based high-performance computing environment.
- Support technical reviews and deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with an independent verification team working in parallel to validate the design.
- Troubleshoot issues associated with networking concepts including packet processing, flow control, initialization, and latency bottlenecks.
- Incorporate and activate third-party ASIC and FPGA IP, such as Ethernet controllers and high-speed SerDes, including bringing up IP in simulations.
- Apply timing constraints essential for the successful realization of networking interfaces, and work closely with physical design on floorplan optimization for ASIC.
