Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 2 years experience with Mission Systems (Avionics) or Vehicle Systems (APG) or equivalent experience in APG/Vehicle Systems (VS) and Supportable Low Observable (SLO)/Structures
- Military aircraft maintenance experience
- High level of motivation to learn about the F-35 airframe
- 3 years of experience with Avionics/Mission Systems (MS) or Vehicle Systems (APG) or equivalent experience in APG/Vehicle Systems (VS) and Supportable Low Observable (SLO)/Structures (preferred)
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer (FSE) (preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively with Military leadership and Senior Leaders
- Experience in fault isolation and problem analysis at the sub-system level
- Proficiency in technical report writing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as FSE Vision/VAST, PDM, VAS, JEDI, JARVIS, and CRE
- Knowledge of CATIA and System/Software Engineering Environment (S/SEE)
- Experience collaborating with military operational units
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Nose to Tail (NTT) Field Service Engineer (FSE), acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Avionics/Mission Systems (MS)
- Troubleshoot and analyze systems including MS, VS, or SLO as an emerging authority
- Function as the technical liaison for Lockheed Martins Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team, engaging directly with customers in Operations and Maintenance
- Resolve issues resulting from maintenance and modification efforts related to the F-35 aircraft
- Engage collaboratively with team members and clients to achieve collective goals
- Maintain compliance with security clearance requirements, including obtaining a Final Secret Security Clearance
