Requirements

Must:
- Top-secret clearance with polygraph is mandatory - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning for complex programs and contracts - A Bachelors degree in advanced mathematics (e.g., calculus, linear algebra, or Bayesian statistics), computer science, or a related STEM discipline from an accredited institution is essential - Alternatively, 5 years of cumulative machine learning experience can substitute for a bachelors degree - Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C++ - Familiarity with Hadoop frameworks - Knowledge of advanced language model development, particularly natural language processing (NLP) - Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face - Understanding of full-stack software development - Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms - Experience in model versioning and management tools like MLFlow or Git - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities - Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and test AI/ML algorithms that learn and predict business outcomes - Build, train, and optimize machine learning models with a specific focus on language models - Conduct rigorous evaluations of models, including performance analysis and debugging - Deploy and scale models using cloud platforms, especially AWS Sagemaker - Integrate machine learning solutions within existing production environments - Document technical specifications and workflows - Collaborate effectively with data scientists, product teams, and software engineers across various projects - Contribute to the development and maintenance of full-stack applications - Collect user and system feedback to enhance model performance - Assume occasional on-call responsibilities as necessary
