Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experienced with Angular, React, or Node
- Strong knowledge of Git version control
- Familiar with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, or Jenkins
- Holds a Secret Security Clearance
- Masters Degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred
- Knowledge of communication protocols, ideally REST or gRPC
- Experience with messaging protocols like Kafka, ActiveMQ, or ZeroMQ
- Programming experience in Rust, Go, Java, or Node
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development practices
- Experience in software orchestration and GitOps workflows
- Background in developing microservices
- Knowledge of defense mission systems
- Experience in real-time embedded software development
- Expertise in hardware-accelerated computing (e.g., CUDA, Intel oneAPI)
- Experience with model deployment software like NVIDIA TensorRT
- Ability to deploy AI-enabled systems across various environments
- Familiarity with high-performance computing
- Experience interfacing with databases such as SQL or MongoDB
- Leadership experience in mentoring engineers or small teams
- Knowledge of transitioning software from prototype to production
- Top Secret/SCI Clearance is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop software applications that leverage Artificial Intelligence capabilities for our clients
- Involved in all stages of the system development lifecycle from generating requirements to flight testing
- Execute a variety of activities including proofs of concept, prototype development, and production transition
- Apply object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms to solve challenging problems
- Utilize concurrency techniques and have familiarity with I/O systems
- Assume the role of technical lead and guide junior engineers as necessary
