Responsibilities
- Work closely with various AI Red Teams to design, architect, and implement adversarial AI capabilities for autonomous agents, computer vision systems, and RF and EW systems, converting cutting-edge research into production-ready code
- Create and develop a modular, extensible red-teaming framework that supports repeatable, user-driven evaluations
- Design user-facing interfaces and workflows (CLI, web UI, APIs, CI/CD pipelines) along with documentation to assist internal and prospective third-party users in performing red team activities with minimal expertise
- Integrate open-source, commercial, and inner-source solutions into a unified platform, managing packaging, versioning, release, dependency management, and maintenance
- Build and sustain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar) featuring automated testing, security scans, and deployment to cloud and containerized/VM-based environments
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Operations (InfraOps) stakeholders for virtualized, containerized, and cloud-based Linux environments, focusing on configuration, orchestration, DISA STIG compliance, and lifecycle maintenance
- Implement observability measures (structured logging, metrics, dashboards) utilizing Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, LangFuse, OpenTelemetry, ensuring comprehensive traceability for debugging, performance analysis, operational reliability, and audits
- Create GPU-enabled software workloads (NVIDIA drivers, CUDA, container runtimes) and continually optimize performance and stability
- Advocate for secure development practices by embedding threat modeling, code reviews, and DevSecOps controls into the software lifecycle
- Manage development and deployment tasks across classified (on-site) and unclassified (remote) environments, ensuring secure and reliable operations
Description
We are on the lookout for a skilled software engineer to enhance our small team dedicated to the design, development, integration, and construction of an AI red teaming platform. This role focuses on creating advanced adversarial AI tools in support of the Lockheed AI Center (LAIC), working in both classified and unclassified settings. Our project spectrum includes integrating open-source, custom-developed, and commercial adversarial AI utilities into a streamlined platform.
