Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with various AI Red Teams to design, architect, and build adversarial AI capabilities for autonomous agents and computer vision systems, transforming cutting-edge research into production-ready solutions.
- Create a modular and extensible red-teaming framework that facilitates consistent, user-driven evaluations.
- Develop user-facing interfaces and workflows (CLI, web UI, APIs, CI/CD pipelines) along with documentation to empower internal and future third-party users in executing red team activities with ease.
- Combine open-source, commercial, and inner-source technologies into a unified platform, overseeing packaging, versioning, release, dependency management, and ongoing maintenance.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar) incorporating automated testing, security scans, and deployment to cloud and containerized/VM environments.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Operations (InfraOps) stakeholders to manage virtualized, containerized, and cloud-based Linux environments, ensuring configuration, orchestration, DISA STIG compliance, and lifecycle support.
- Implement observability features (structured logging, metrics, dashboards) using tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, LangFuse, and OpenTelemetry, ensuring comprehensive traceability for debugging, performance assessment, operational reliability, and compliance.
- Develop GPU-optimized software workloads (NVIDIA drivers, CUDA, container runtimes) while continuously enhancing performance and stability.
- Promote secure development practices by incorporating threat modeling, code reviews, and DevSecOps controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Manage development and deployment activities across both classified (on-site) and unclassified (remote) environments, ensuring operations are secure and reliable.
Description
We are searching for a seasoned software engineer to join our small team dedicated to designing, developing, integrating, and building an AI red teaming platform. This role emphasizes creating advanced adversarial AI tools in support of the Lockheed AI Center (LAIC) Red Team, operating in both classified and unclassified environments. The position offers a hybrid work model with mainly remote work, but candidates should be located near major Lockheed Martin facilities, such as Moorestown NJ, Dallas TX, or Orlando FL, due to occasional onsite requirements.
