Requirements
Must:
- 4-6 years of experience in information technology with a focus on application administration and development
- 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in ServiceNow administration and development
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer certification is essential
- ITIL Foundation certification or the ability to obtain within a year of employment
- Proficiency in configuring, customizing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions
- Experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub for automation
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM
- Familiarity with web development technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Understanding of ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP APIs, and middleware tools
- Knowledge of SQL, database concepts, data modeling, and version control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively address challenges
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders and document processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting with IT teams, business units, and external partners
- Basic knowledge of project management, incident management, and change enablement principles
- Strong organizational capabilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities at once
- Capacity to work in a traditional office environment and use standard office equipment
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs. (e.g., file boxes, computing equipment)
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operation, functionality, and scalability of the ServiceNow platform across all modules
- Develop, implement, configure, customize, and refine ServiceNow applications, plugins, and modules to adapt to changing business demands
- Design and construct complex workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and server scripts to support dynamic requirements
- Create and maintain integrations with external systems utilizing APIs, MID Servers, and integration tools
- Support security design through the implementation of access controls, scripted security rules, and appropriate system properties
- Enhance discovery patterns, service mapping, and related automation to boost visibility and integration with the CMDB
- Develop and sustain Service Catalog items, record producers, request workflows, custom tables, forms, and fields
- Conduct code reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure optimal efficiency, productivity, and necessary debugging
- Produce and execute test cases to ensure software quality assurance, including the Automated Test Framework
- Maintain and upgrade the ServiceNow Mobile Applications to enhance ITSM processes and ensure a seamless user experience
- Improve the usability, content delivery, and request fulfillment of the Employee Center portal
- Design, configure, and manage reusable script includes and mail scripts
- Validate and rectify customizations, scripts, and integrations during regular upgrades, patches, and plugin updates
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver improvements
- Identify automation opportunities and optimize processes to enhance IT service delivery efficiency
- Create and preserve technical design documentation, solution architecture diagrams, and integration specifications in alignment with Knowledge Base configurations
- Ensure that all development and configuration efforts adhere to organizational policies, security standards, and ITIL best practices
- Take accountability for actions, decisions, and results; readily accept feedback and demonstrate a commitment to self-improvement
