Requirements
Must:
- Experience in startup environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Over 10 years in infrastructure-level software architecture and development
- Strong understanding of distributed systems
- Proficient with Linux and virtualization platforms
- Expertise in native Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Kubernetes-based ML/AI systems (Kubeflow, Kueue, KServe, GPU Operators, DRA, Karpenter)
- Deep understanding of ML/AI use cases and customer stories related to model development, training, inference, and hardware accelerator usage
- Proven ability to deliver complex distributed systems
- Active involvement in CNCF or similar communities
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of additional ML/AI frameworks and tools
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Certification in Kubernetes or related technologies
- Awareness of FinOps and SRE best practices
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of native Kubernetes architectures
- Ensure a Kubernetes-friendly installation process and user experience
- Enhance capabilities to support GPUs, TPUs, FPGAs, and other accelerators
- Collaborate with Product teams and Customers, translating technical needs into product features and prioritizing appropriately
- Engage customers during initial evaluations to gather market insights
- Develop detailed architecture diagrams, documentation, and presentations
- Actively participate in the Open Source Community and contribute to CNCF and related projects
- Drive and deliver enterprise-class solutions for data, machine learning, and AI applications
- Implement FinOps for effective cloud financial management and adopt modern SRE practices
