Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in:
- Quality Assurance and testing
- Selenium WebDriver and various automation tools
- Java (preferred) or C#/Python for automation scripting
- Developing and maintaining automation frameworks from the ground up
- Functional testing principles
- TestNG / JUnit / NUnit, Maven / Gradle, Git
- Integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
- SQL knowledge for backend validation
- At least six (6) years of experience in:
- Agile/Scrum environments
- Test planning and strategy
- Test case design techniques (boundary value, equivalence partitioning)
- Regression strategy
- Risk-based testing
- Independently managing testing for a feature/module
- Preferred qualifications include:
- At least seven (7) years of experience in:
- BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
- Selenium Grid / parallel execution
- Testing cloud-based applications (Azure/AWS)
- Performance testing tools (JMeter)
- At least five (5) years of experience in:
- Containerization (Docker)
- DevOps practices and shift-left testing
- Testing microservices architecture
- Basics of security testing
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Build and optimize automation frameworks (data-driven, hybrid, or BDD).
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Examine business requirements and formulate detailed test scenarios and cases.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects to clarify needs.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives).
- Execute API testing (both manual and automated).
- Carry out defect tracking, root cause analysis, and impact assessment.
- Ensure integration of automation suites into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Offer test coverage analysis and quality metrics reporting.
- Understand business objectives and issues, propose alternative solutions, and conduct cost/benefit analyses.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and issues for process automation or enhancement of existing systems.
- Consult with stakeholders to assess current procedures, identify challenges, and gather specific input and output requirements.
- Draft detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps to develop or modify programs.
- Review system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to determine feasibility of requested changes within the existing system.
