Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, systems analysis or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in solution architecture with measurable business outcomes.
- At least three (3) to five (5) years in a solution architecture role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for interactions with project teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively plan, organize, and deliver projects punctually.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Quick problem-solving skills in response to unforeseen challenges.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, with Visio experience being beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Grasp the concepts related to business objectives, goals, and processes, and their relevance in solution architecture.
- Provide leadership and analysis necessary to support the development of technology solutions that meet business needs and adhere to architectural principles.
- Produce deliverables for managing the organizations portfolio of current and future solutions, including systems and shared services.
- Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive architectural designs and document all architecture-related tasks.
- Collaborate with leadership and project teams to ensure a robust architectural framework supports future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Recognize business drivers and capabilities, determining associated enterprise solution designs to meet business outcomes.
- Guide individual and team weekly objectives, monitoring progress in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Evaluate the current state of deployed services, identifying deficiencies or misalignments with business requirements.
- Assist product managers with decisions regarding the lifecycle of products to maintain or retire as needed.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and their implications for business practices.
- Analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and their potential impacts on solutions.
- Recommend improvements for portfolio deficiencies and technical debts.
- Facilitate the selection of software standards and design configurations.
- Consult on application and infrastructure projects to ensure alignment with architectural frameworks.
- Lead design and analysis for implementing architectural solutions across Business License Management services.
- Manage architecture for multiple projects, collaborating with architects from various domains.
- Create roadmaps for the evolution of the enterprise solution portfolio.
- Provide consultancy across a range of technologies to achieve targeted business outcomes.
- Collaborate with portfolio leadership to ensure execution aligns with commitments made during program efforts.
- Offer support to application architects to align programs with the overall enterprise IT architecture framework.
- Deliver essential architectural documentation and strategy designs to guide solution development.
- Produce governance deliverables to evaluate technology investment impacts on business and IT environments.
- Support teams in aligning with enterprise architecture governance and assurance principles.
- Direct governance activities for ensuring architectural compliance and assurance.
- Define guidelines and standards to keep solution decisions aligned with the enterprises future architectural vision.
