Application Developer - Java & SQL

- Application Development: - Assess programming requirements and develop applications aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. - Collaborate with users to identify and implement enhancements to existing applications for improved effectiveness. - Conduct testing to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring applications remain reliable and provide accurate information. - Partner with vendors to develop programming solutions that promote the advancement of IT systems. - Create and sustain comprehensive application documentation for both technical and end-user audiences. - Database Administration: - Oversee database management to ensure optimal daily operations. - Implement and maintain security, backup, and recovery strategies for databases. - Investigate any identified malfunctions promptly, propose recommendations, and execute solutions. - Network: - When needed, provide backup support to ensure seamless system and network operations, addressing any arising issues. - Act as a resource for system/network administration for other IT professionals and deliver training to ensure smooth network functioning and mitigate potential errors. - Information Security: - Ensure strict adherence to information security policies. - Computer Operations: - Offer backup support to ensure efficient computer operations and assist with user/helpdesk inquiries as they arise. - Training: - Develop and deliver user training in alignment with the launch of new or updated applications. - Proactively collaborate with supervisors to schedule training for both new and existing staff as required. - Timely schedule and provide training requested by users to address operational needs.
