Must:
- I require a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering or a related field. - A minimum of 8 years of professional, hands-on experience with robotic systems is necessary; experience in robotic welding is a plus. - Proficiency in conceptualizing automated solutions and implementing robotic and automation equipment is essential. - Expertise in higher-level programming of Fanuc robots for auto recovery and other advanced routines is needed. - Excellent organizational skills combined with strong written and oral communication abilities are a must. - I expect strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset and great attention to detail. Continuous improvement methodology should be applied to tackle real-world issues. - You must be capable of managing diverse assignments and adapting to shifting priorities. - Proficient computer skills with advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required. - The ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a team is crucial. - A solid understanding of engineering and scientific principles, practices, and procedures is required. - Experience with solid modeling (CAD) for conceptualizing and designing components, such as fixturing for automated solutions, is needed. - I need you to be effective when working with shop floor employees and be open to adjusting your schedule as necessary. - You should possess the ability to gather and analyze data effectively to make informed, fact-based decisions.

Responsibilities

- You will identify and conceptualize primarily robotic and occasionally other forms of automated solutions to enhance safety, ergonomics, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency within the Machine Division. - You will coordinate with vendors for quoting and sizing automated systems. - Manage projects from initiation to completion, including Capital Appropriation Requests that involve project budgets, savings, ROI, timelines, runoff criteria, status updates, system implementation, and all project-related details. - Your responsibilities will include programming robotic systems and providing support and troubleshooting for existing robotic systems. - You will design customized fixturing and workholding for automated systems utilizing Solid Edge. - Create procedures, documentation, routings, and other essential paperwork for the manufacturing process. - Collaborate and communicate across all organizational levels, including pieceworkers, R&D, QA, Supply Management, production departments, and executive management. - Serve as the technical authority in robotics and offer mentorship and training to others regarding the technical aspects of robotic systems. - You will take on additional assignments as directed by your supervisor. - Assume extra responsibilities as needed to support the Company's 2025 Strategy.
