Requirements

Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: - Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. A PhD will be considered an advantage. - Experience: A minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in developing and deploying deep learning models. Familiarity with large-scale datasets and cloud platforms is preferred. - Skills: - Expertise in deep learning frameworks, with the ability to design specialized neural networks applying data augmentation and attention mechanisms. - Competence in writing high-quality software using SOLID programming principles and developing testing protocols for machine learning code. - Proficient in version control tools and principles for effective collaboration with team members. - In-depth understanding of partial differential equations, scientific computing, and statistical methodologies. - Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate well within a team setting.

Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning Engineer, I would expect you to take on crucial responsibilities in a new data science role aimed at diagnosing and resolving production inefficiencies through data analysis. Your specific duties will include: - Model Development: Create and develop deep learning models utilizing frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras for specific applications in the manufacturing sector. - Training and Evaluation: Train models on extensive datasets, assess their performance, and fine-tune hyperparameters for optimal outcomes. - Deployment: Implement and deploy models in production environments, including cloud settings, ensuring they are efficient and scalable. - Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate models into applications and services. - Research: Remain updated on the latest advancements in deep learning, including transformers and graph neural networks, and apply innovative techniques to new applications. - Documentation: Keep comprehensive records of model architecture, training procedures, and evaluation metrics using ML Flow or similar tools.
