Requirements
Must:
- Four-year Engineering degree is mandatory for all levels
- Minimum of three (3) years Engineering experience for Level II
- Minimum of five (5) years Engineering experience for Level III
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems architecture and design considerations
- Proven experience in writing C for embedded platforms
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks for embedded systems
- Effective communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Excellent organizational capabilities
- Ability to manage a dynamic set of priorities
- Initiative to take ownership of product designs
- Broad understanding of principles and practices related to field specialization
- Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based on qualifications and experience
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain embedded software components for products
- Continuously enhance development techniques to create reliable and efficient software
- Develop multithreaded controls using industrial Real Time Operating Systems and Embedded Linux with C and C++
- Create software for communication with various industrial automation networks and Internet protocols
- Develop software for embedded graphical displays
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as marketing, suppliers, customers, and sales engineers to foster product innovation
- Maintain records of work processes and document results accurately
- Develop automated test setups and frameworks for embedded systems
- Troubleshoot engineering issues in development and production, minimizing downtime
- Interpret schematics and component specifications
- Display originality and ingenuity in broad assignment tasks
- Exercise significant independence in decision-making
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed to support the Company’s strategic objectives
