Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience in managing and operating ServiceNow, focusing on platform setup, upgrades, and technical support. - Practical development expertise with custom workflows, scripts, portal design, and integrations within ServiceNow. - In-depth understanding of ITIL frameworks and ITSM best practices. - Proficient in JavaScript, with a solid understanding of SQL, HTML, and CSS. - Capability to implement and sustain automated processes and workflows. - Strong communication skills, able to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical teams. - Experience in providing user training and creating technical documentation. - Proficient in problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques. - Knowledgeable in IT security policies, firewalls, and cybersecurity principles in a governmental context. - Familiarity with working in an Agile environment using tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps. - Previous experience assisting government agencies or contracts is a plus. - Robust organizational and analytical capabilities; adept at managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting. - Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is required. - Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, and ITIL Foundation Certification are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

- Ensure the health, performance, and reliability of the ServiceNow platform. - Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, including setting up workflows, forms, business rules, and reporting features to align with operational needs. - Manage user permissions, roles, and access controls in agreement with security policies and organizational standards. - Provide technical assistance and resolve issues with minimal disruption to IT services. - Monitor system logs and performance, proactively spotting and addressing potential issues. - Facilitate the implementation of new features, system upgrades, and enhancements according to release schedules. - Keep comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures for regulatory compliance and knowledge sharing. - Stay informed about best practices for ServiceNow, new features, and relevant federal IT standards. - Provide technical leadership in design, integration, and optimization initiatives for the platform. - Evaluate new tools or system changes to determine compatibility, performance, and long-term viability.
