Requirements
Must:
- Active TS or TS/SCI clearance, with access to JWICS, and NATO-TS COSMIC access
- Relevant masters degree with a minimum of 9 years of experience or 15 years of overall experience in cybersecurity management, policy, and compliance
- Possession of one or more of the following certifications: CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, FITSP-M, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, GSLC, CCISO, CISA, CISSP-ISSEP, CYSA+, GSLC, or GSNA
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for engaging with all organizational levels
- Familiarity with DoD security requirements in relation to the subject matter
- Experience in an IT environment comparable in complexity and scope to this position
- Extensive knowledge of large-scale, intricate IT infrastructures
- Certification compliance with DoD 8570/8140 standards
Responsibilities
- Provide expert cybersecurity knowledge and strategic technical information support for enterprise security architecture, compliance frameworks, and trusted system interactions
- Aid in the development of incident response programs and conduct analysis of significant security incidents for governmental leaders
- Assess the efficacy of security testing methods and deliver insights and recommendations to senior leadership, including collaborative programs for enhancing security posture
- Review and analyze tabletop exercise frameworks to ensure alignment with current threat scenarios and organizational security goals
- Deliver technical evaluations and data for the integration of threat intelligence within enterprise security architecture and governance frameworks
- Analyze architectural standards for trusted systems and offer technical guidance for secure deployment
- Assist in formulating cybersecurity strategies for cloud integration and improving security practices
- Offer subject matter expertise on Cloud Service Provider security requirements and evaluation frameworks
- Facilitate coordination between security operations and executive leadership during major security incidents and with testing teams for strategic alignment
- Develop threat analysis models for government adaptation, contributing to prioritization and resource allocation strategies
- Provide advanced technical evaluations and findings to government leadership regarding complex cybersecurity architectures impacting critical missions
- Foster strategic relationships with USCYBERCOM, DISA J34, DoD Cyber Defense Command, Cyber Security Service Providers, and C2 leadership
- Deliver analysis and data to aid the establishment of governance frameworks facilitating security collaboration between CSPs, governmental bodies, and intelligence agencies
- Share expert technical information on trusted systems for integration with classified setups
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments of CSP solutions against DoD security criteria for governmental decisions
- Support knowledge transfer efforts and mentor security architects on principles of enterprise security design as guided by government personnel
