Requirements
Must:
- Valid TS/SCI clearance, with access to JWICS and NATO-TS COSMIC
- Bachelors degree relevant to the field with 11 years of experience, or 15 years of overall experience in enterprise cloud architecture and design
- Compliance with all DoD 8140 requirements for WRC 628 (Software/Cloud Architect)
Responsibilities
- Conducting research on CSO technical viability in line with DoD demand signals and emerging needs
- Offering technical oversight and evaluation of cloud architecture design to ensure it meets business objectives and adheres to security best practices
- Analyzing DoD demand signals to guide strategic decisions and develop technology roadmaps
- Providing insights on XaaS CSOs across various CSPs, including off-premises, on-premises, hybrid, and tactical edge solutions
- Reviewing specifications against DoD security, compliance, and performance standards
- Informing the user community about cloud adoption queries and delivering technical details on XaaS specifications
- Participating in user community discussions on cloud adoptions and CSO implementations
- Coordinating the preparation of inputs for verifying CSP requirements in Government tools and tracking systems
- Reviewing other DoD contract capabilities and CSP deliverables concerning DISA cloud contracts
- Analyzing the utilization of the JWCC contract in connection with commercial trends and practices
- Assisting in technical exchange meetings with CSPs and Strategic Partners
- Providing specialized knowledge on CSO capabilities aligned with DoD governance requirements
- Evaluating CSP deliverables to ensure compliance with DoD standards and requirements
