Requirements
Must:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in research, analytics, consulting, or marketing is preferred.
- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, R, or Python.
- Experienced in creating data visualizations using Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, or R.
- Strong writing and communication skills, capable of converting complex findings into clear and accessible insights.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious, with an eagerness to connect data insights to marketing and storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and validate labor market and workforce data to uncover emerging trends and skill requirements.
- Create clear and engaging data visualizations that translate intricate data into actionable insights.
- Assist marketing and communications initiatives by generating data-driven content for reports, blogs, and media outreach.
- Execute and refine data queries utilizing Lightcasts proprietary database and other public data sources; ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to client-focused research projects in areas such as higher education, workforce development, and human capital management.
- Compose concise and insightful summaries of research findings for both internal and external audiences.
