Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of two years experience in an IT support position, or equivalent education and experience
- Strong understanding of computer networking and in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
- Proficient in managing WANs (Wide Area Networks) and extensive knowledge of LANs (Local Area Networks)
- Required desktop support experience, with a solid background in workstation management and installations, including hardware and operating system upgrades
- Exceptional communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and related applications
- Experience in monitoring network security for URAC, HIPAA, and PCI compliance
Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries from external customers via various channels, assessing potential solutions and guiding them toward resolutions
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of personal workstations, servers, ethernet networks, and related equipment
- Manage LANs according to TCP/IP networking standards
- Develop and enforce network security measures to meet URAC, HIPAA, and PCI compliance, including building firewalls and managing data protection strategies
- Diagnose and resolve issues across networks, systems, and applications to address operational challenges
- Anticipate potential communication and network problems, implementing proactive solutions
