Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in business analysis with a robust understanding of SDLC processes and project management principles.
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
- Solid knowledge of SQL programming along with experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend and scripting languages such as Python and Bash for data processing tasks.
- Hands-on experience with analytics tools including R and VBA for advanced data analysis.
- Understanding of database design concepts and experience with linked data for integrated information systems.
- Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience managing projects in fast-paced environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, transforming them into clear technical specifications.
- Utilize advanced data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to create engaging dashboards and reports that reveal key insights.
- Apply Agile methodologies to effectively manage projects, ensuring timely delivery while adapting to changing priorities.
- Design and optimize databases using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, adhering to best practices in database design to support analytics initiatives.
- Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes with tools such as Talend and Python to enable smooth data integration from various sources.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis utilizing R, SQL, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from planning through deployment, ensuring quality standards are upheld at each stage.
- Engage in business analysis activities by defining KPIs, documenting workflows using Visio, and promoting data governance through linked data practices.
