Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with data analysis tools including SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Talend.
- Strong grasp of database design principles and familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases.
- Understanding of ETL processes and tools for integrating data across various platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management techniques to effectively manage multiple projects.
- Ability to transform complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions through business analysis.
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes to ensure high-quality delivery of analytics projects.
- Proficient in VBA scripting for automation tasks within Microsoft Office; knowledge of Bash scripting for Unix systems is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills to present insights clearly to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and examine extensive datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other programming languages to discern trends and patterns.
- Create and sustain interactive dashboards and reports with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization tools to convey insights effectively.
- Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Talend or similar tools to maintain data integrity and accessibility.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in Agile project management settings to deliver timely data solutions that meet business requirements.
- Conduct business analysis by translating stakeholder needs into technical specifications and actionable data models.
- Support database design and management using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and related technologies for optimal data storage and retrieval.
- Engage in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by testing, deploying, and maintaining analytics solutions while adhering to best practices.
- Utilize database scripting languages such as VBA and Bash (Unix shell) to automate tasks that enhance efficiency.
- Participate in Linked Data initiatives by integrating various data sources for comprehensive analysis.
