Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- 10 years of total experience
- Minimum of 5 years managing a combination of on-premise and cloud Security Operations Centers (SOC)
- Alternatively, 10 years of experience in cybersecurity incident response within large environments (50,000+ endpoints)
- Experience across all five areas of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Must be within commuting distance of Arlington, VA or willing to relocate (Relocation Assistance Package Available)
- U.S. citizenship status is mandatory due to government contract requirements
- Willingness to work on-site is essential
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily and strategic operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Manage teams, playbooks, and response strategies to ensure effective operations
- Ensure SOC compliance with NIST functions to secure large-scale environments (greater than 50,000 endpoints)
- Lead operational activities, including planning and resource allocation for both hybrid cloud and on-prem SOCs
