Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of professional experience in web or app development
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong hands-on expertise with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce
- Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Demonstrated experience creating mobile-responsive and mobile-first applications
- Familiarity with APIs and third-party system integrations
- Experience with Git or alternative version control systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Magento certification(s) (preferred)
- Familiarity with PWA / Magento PWA Studio (preferred)
- Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular (preferred)
- Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, cloud platforms) (preferred)
- Experience in high-traffic e-commerce settings (preferred)
- Experience in AI coding tools (preferred)
- Bilingual in French and English is a plus (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce websites and applications
- Customize Magento modules, themes, APIs, and integrations
- Build and enhance mobile-first, responsive web applications
- Ensure website performance, scalability, security, and reliability
- Integrate third-party services, including ERP/CRM systems and web applications
- Collaborate with designers, product owners, and stakeholders to provide user-centered solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and documentation
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best development practices
- Secure web applications by updating software, applying security patches, and monitoring for vulnerabilities
- Maintain documentation for changes and additions to business processes
- Deliver all project milestones on time, within budget, and in scope
