Requirements

Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. - I have 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. - I possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently to develop creative solutions. - I work well within a small team environment. - I have strong communication skills. - I am a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

- I evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies. - I design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met. - I develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products. I also write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing, analyze test cases, and provide regular progress reports. - I serve as a subject matter specialist providing testing expertise for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications. - I direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development, emphasizing analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tool selection. - I design, plan, create, execute, and provide SOS test reports. - I review government test plans and test reports for technical competence, effectiveness, and compliance with standards. - I observe and evaluate the execution of customer acceptance test activities. - I perform integration activities involving developed application software. - I identify and document problems and issues, providing specific guidance on root-cause and remediation. - I analyze the requirements for each test event and assist in the scheduling of the SOS non-operational environments test assets. - I support and assist in the execution of government-conducted security certification testing of SOS systems and components. - I support the presentation and formal review or audit of test results, providing briefing and decision support material. - Using government-supplied software configuration management control tools, I accept developed software code and integrate the code into builds (i.e., incremental releases) to support test, integration, deployment, and cut-in to operations activities. - I maintain and provide controls for multiple test software and hardware baselines. - I possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments. - I plan and lead major technology assignments. - I evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. - I function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. - I may supervise others.

Preferred qualifications include experience with operating systems such as Linux, software development tools like JIRA and Confluence, familiarity with languages/frameworks associated with JIRA, and source control tools like GIT. A DOD Secret Clearance is required. While subject to change based on business needs, I reasonably anticipate that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days. The anticipated pay range for this position is $87,100.00 - $157,450.00. My pay range acts as a general guideline and not a guarantee, as additional factors will also be considered in extending an offer.
