Requirements
Must:
- Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance and be eligible for a Top-Secret w/ SCI clearance.
- DoD 8140 IT Project Manager 802(EN) certification at the basic proficiency level, such as CompTIA Security+ CE or CASP+, prior to starting.
- DoD 8570 CSSP-A level Certification such as CEH, CySA+, or GCIA is required within 180 days of hire.
- Bachelors degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, or technical project management; additional experience or cyber courses/certifications may substitute for a degree.
- Proven dedication to training, self-education, and maintaining proficiency in the technical cybersecurity domain.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in briefing both technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while being an effective part of a distributed team.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clearance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead technology integration and capability enhancement projects from concept to execution by performing tasks such as:
- Researching and presenting technology concepts.
- Supporting onboarding and integration discussions.
- Briefing government and contractor stakeholders throughout the process.
- Coordinating training and acceptance testing initiatives.
- Assisting in launches and conducting after-action reviews.
- Nurturing and maintaining clear lines of communication with both Government and Contractor personnel, including Program Management Offices, technology integrators, DCO analysts, and external partners.
- Providing regular project updates and briefings to diverse stakeholders, ranging from DCO analysts to senior executives like the DISA Director.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on a wide array of DCO tools and capabilities, with the knack for quickly mastering new and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrating a relentless curiosity and continuously seeking ways to enhance technical knowledge and understanding of DCO tools and methodologies.
- Conducting thorough research and analysis of product documentation, architecture diagrams, CONOPS, and other technical resources to guide integration efforts.
- Proactively identifying, establishing, and fostering relationships with DCO partners across DISA.
- Collaborating directly with site-level DCO analysts, Countermeasures/Detection Engineers, and leadership to capture, refine, and advocate for innovative ideas, tackle operational challenges, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
