Systems Integration and Test Manager

- I possess a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related equivalent from an ABET-accredited university, along with 12+ years of pertinent experience; or I hold a Master’s degree in one of the aforementioned fields with 10+ years of relevant experience. - I have professional expertise in system engineering, integration, and testing of large defense systems, both in Subject Matter Expert (SME) and leadership capacities. - I demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative engineering environment, working closely with engineering, program, and customer leadership. - Resourcefulness is one of my strong suits, as I employ problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills effectively. - I possess in-depth knowledge of the system development and integration lifecycle, including requirements derivation, decomposition, and verification processes. - I have proven experience in leading and mentoring multidisciplinary engineering teams through the Integration & Testing (I&T) process. - I can act as the principal liaison for Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) between internal engineering teams, program management, and government customers. - My experience includes managing program cost, schedule, and technical performance, with familiarity in Earned Value Management System (EVMS). - I excel in conducting risk assessments, executing trade studies, and developing mitigation strategies. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills enable me to clearly articulate complex technical information to varied audiences, such as senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders. - I possess strong interpersonal skills to cultivate relationships and foster collaboration within cross-functional teams, including software development, hardware design, and manufacturing. - My approach to planning, testing, and documentation is meticulous and organized. - I have a strong desire to mentor and guide junior engineers. - I am either a resident of the North Alabama area or I am willing to relocate to Huntsville – North Alabama, AL. - I possess a security clearance at the secret level.
