Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a talented Systems Engineer with the following qualifications: Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. You must have demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts. A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
You should hold one of the following certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - Server (MCSA-Serv)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator (NCDA)
- XML Master Basic
- Red Hat Certified Systems Engineer (RHCSE)
- Security Certified Network Architect (SCNA)
- VMWare Certified Professional
- EMC Isilon Storage Professional
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Tibco Trained Professional - Enterprise Message Service (TTP-EMS)
- Riverbed Certified Solutions Professional (RCSP)
- Or an equivalent approved by the customer.
A TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required.
Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will provide support for user issues such as applications, access, physical site issues, data flow, and communications. You will oversee and manage Windows and application teams (approximately 15 FTE) to support collaboration, develop technical strategy, and ensure completion of requirements. Acting as the primary liaison with the Technical Director, you will ensure that all division technical projects are completed on time. You will lead the creation of technical deliverables for reporting and assist the Project Manager with final deliverables. Additionally, you will oversee and improve technical processes within the organization to achieve efficiency and a proactive posture.
