Systems Administrator / Junior Integration Engineer

In this role, I will be responsible for supporting systems administration, engineering, integration, testing, and deployment activities for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) on the Cross Domain Enterprise Solutions (CDES) team. Key duties include: - Developing, integrating, and testing COTS/GOTS products and server OS with installation and configuration of software and hardware on pre-production and production environments - Managing network servers and technology tools - Setting up accounts and workstations - Monitoring performance and maintaining systems according to requirements - Troubleshooting issues and outages - Ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls - Ensuring security compliance of the integration and testing infrastructure using DoD security analysis techniques, including the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management process - Conducting performance analysis and technology maturity assessments of emerging technologies through application review and load testing - Performing systems integration, testing, and deployment of cross-domain solutions and related technologies on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMware ESX Platforms - Deploying hardware, installing base operating systems, software applications, and providing network configuration for various hardware categories
