Requirements
Must:
- I have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree program; or I possess 5 years of experience as a Systems Architect.
- I have over 8 years of experience in leading the development of complex systems and applications.
- I possess working experience designing, implementing, and operating in a DevSecOps environment of comparable size and complexity.
- I am capable of developing and maintaining architecture documentation, including design patterns, models, and diagrams.
- I can evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve system performance, scalability, and security.
- I provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- I have proven written and oral communications skills targeted at all levels of an organization.
- I demonstrate strategic planning skills, looking ahead to the retirement and future posture of capabilities and driving progress in that direction.
- I have expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
- I am proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
- I have solid knowledge of database design and management.
- I possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Responsibilities
- I ensure analysis of alternatives are conducted and prioritized to properly architect business and mission solutions using optimum systems and services.
- I work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment and ensure that the Agile release trains are aligned with the organization's technology landscape.
- I define and support the implementation of enabler capabilities, consistent choice and use of technologies, regulatory compliance, standards, and higher-level Non-functional Requirements (NFRs).
- I ensure that system design evolves in line with a shared architectural intent and the practical reality of implementation, and I work with other groups to establish optimal architectures and processes for system integration and testing.
- I support DevOps and the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, align architecture with business priorities, and evolve system design with the team.
Description
At Leidos, I am part of the National Security Sector, where I can contribute to a large Defense Intelligence program chartered to support the Analysis Orchestration Services. Here, we provide governance, integration, deployment, and operations and sustainment of the current suite of services and future integrated capabilities. My efforts will support critical missions including strategic intelligence, warfighter support, indications and warning, safety of navigation, foundation data, humanitarian and disaster relief, special event planning, and homeland defense. The pay range for this position is $101,400.00 - $183,300.00, which is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
