Sr. Software Quality Engineer w active

As a Sr. Software Quality Engineer, you will manage the program instantiation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and deploy and implement suitable QMS processes. You will closely integrate with the program team to implement and execute the QMS effectively. Your role will involve recommending, facilitating, tracking, and reporting on continuous process improvement activities, as well as implementing audit practices for internal processes and products. Ensuring adherence to all standards, Leidos policies, and best practices will be key to your success. You will support the development and collection of performance metrics, track and analyze trends found in these metrics, and provide the program manager with timely metrics and audit outcomes to track progress on quality objectives. As a liaison for enterprise quality initiatives, you will report to higher-level management on Quality Achievement, review and submit contract deliverables, and ensure compliance with applicable standards. You will also create and update a Tailored Process Baseline (TPB) and document and work to resolve nonconformities via root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action. Additionally, your support in Leidos reporting, such as Quality Management Reviews, In Process Reviews, Weekly Activity Reports, and Monthly Operational Reviews, will be invaluable.
