Requirements

Must:
- This position requires a 4-year degree in a relevant applicable field and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of applicable experience in configuration and data management of products is acceptable, where impact assessments, change authorization, and adherence to industry standards are a daily requirement. - I am looking for candidates who are residents of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. - Applicants must have detailed knowledge of and the ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of the technical domain and develop solutions to complex technical issues affecting multiple areas or disciplines. - Candidates should possess detailed knowledge and experience in configuration change management principles and record types. - I require candidates to have detailed knowledge of mechanical, electrical, software, and other CM practices as outlined in SAE EIA-649 series, ASME Y14 series, ISO 9001, MIL-STD-31000, MIL-HDBK-61, DODM 5200.01 series, and DODI 5200.48. - A minimum of five (5) years’ experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Agile PLM, Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA, Siemens Teamcenter, or Aras is essential. - Candidates should understand bills of materials, technical documents, product drawings, schematics, diagrams, and specifications. - Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, such as CREO or Solidworks, is required. - I expect candidates to have knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems, such as Windchill or Solidworks PDM Pro. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) is required. - Familiarity with Adobe PDF editing software or equivalent is necessary. - I am looking for candidates who are proficient in Microsoft SharePoint collaboration software. - Candidates must excel in a collaborative engineering environment, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, customer representatives, and external contacts. - Good organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

- As a Senior Configuration Management Analyst, I will oversee product design changes and their effects on the overall system. Duties will include ensuring configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations for data created from internal projects or supplied by the customer. - I will work independently to develop solutions for complex technical issues that impact multiple areas or disciplines. - I will provide project support by creating and reviewing contents of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Software Development Requirements Lists (SDRLs), item records, change records, and other documents in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. - I am responsible for executing Configuration and Data Management processes and controls, ensuring that company policies and procedures align with industry standards and customer requirements. - I will write and maintain a variety of documents, including CM corporate policies, Configuration Management plans, Project Configuration Forms, program Access Control lists, desktop instructions, CM work instructions, and audit forms. - I will oversee CM team members in solution design, processes, and approaches. - I will support tasks in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with CM, engineering, manufacturing, quality teams, and the customer to support products throughout their lifecycle. - I will be expected to work on-site for a minimum of 4+ days a week.

The anticipated pay range for this role is $87,100.00 - $157,450.00. This pay range is a general guideline only and does not guarantee compensation. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include the responsibilities of the job, education, experience, skills, and internal equity, among others.
