Requirements
Must:
- I possess a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and have at least 8 years of relevant experience, though additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- I have a minimum of 2 years of experience with Java/Java Scripts, Static and Dynamic Analysis Tools, and DevOps.
- I am experienced with or have in-depth knowledge of software development quality assurance program management plans and/or internal process audits.
- I am familiar with providing Quality Management for Software Development and IT Service Management Projects.
- I have experience with or strong familiarity with peer reviews and process auditing.
- I can collect and analyze data and produce actionable metrics.
- I have experience related to recommending, facilitating, tracking, and reporting on continuous process improvement activities in Software Development and Test.
- I can multi-task, complete tasks without direct supervision, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- I possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- I am proficient with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Project).
Responsibilities
- I will integrate closely with the program team to implement and execute the Quality Management System (QMS) for Software Development and Test.
- I will recommend, facilitate, track, and report on continuous process improvement activities in Software Development and Test.
- I will assist with the program instantiation of the QMS and the deployment and implementation of appropriate QMS processes in Software Development and Test.
- I will support the development and collection of performance metrics.
- I will document and work to resolve nonconformities and requirement escapes through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action.
- I will support reporting, such as Quality Management Reviews, In Process Reviews, Weekly Activity Reports, and Monthly Operational Reviews.

The National Security Sector of Leidos has an exciting career opportunity for a talented Software Quality Engineer, with an active TS/SCI Polygraph required upfront. I am pleased to offer a $25k sign-on bonus for this role!
In this position, I will be supporting a program in the Cyber & Analytics Business Area and serve as a member of a team dedicated to ensuring the highest quality service for our customers. I will generate and control program processes, perform regularly scheduled internal process audits, and consistently facilitate structured improvement activities. I will thrive as an agent for change, bringing high energy and passion for quality, while being self-motivated and capable of quickly establishing working relationships with coworkers and customers in various locations.
Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $89,700.00 - $162,150.00, serving as a general guideline. The final offer may be influenced by various factors, including responsibilities, experience, and internal equity considerations.
