Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 12-15 years of pertinent experience, or a Master’s degree with 10-13 years of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of radar systems and/or integrated sensor systems.
- Demonstrated experience in leading technical design reviews and delivering technical reports and materials to client teams.
- Strong expertise in C++ and object-oriented design principles.
- A solid foundation in software engineering, including the establishment and enforcement of best practices like:
- Configuration management
- Coding standards
- Code reviews
- Testability
- Designing for reusability
- Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining APIs and network ICDs for custom hardware electronics.
- Proven ability to collaborate with a talented team to develop and integrate software solutions onto dedicated computer hardware.
- Experience in supporting system integration and testing activities to validate system-level requirements.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, hold a DoD Secret clearance, and possess the capacity to acquire and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
- Candidates should reside in the North Alabama area or be willing to relocate to Huntsville – North Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to internal software quality policies, procedures, and contribute to corporate audits.
- Collaborate closely with a team of subsystem software leads to coordinate software development and integration priorities to ensure the success of the system.
- Lead the comprehensive software development for multiple Hardware Integration Labs (HIL) and Software Integration Labs (SIL), utilized both internally and by clients to develop and verify software payloads prior to sensor system deployment.
- Deliver weekly status updates to both internal management and customer leadership.
- Facilitate weekly software discussions with the integrated software team.
- Oversee the development of system software documentation and the overall deployment strategy for dedicated hardware.
- Engage in ongoing software design discussions and contributions.
