Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, along with at least 8 years of pertinent experience. Additional experience can substitute for the formal degree.
- I need proof of experience with Java, including the development of unit tests.
- I expect familiarity with Spring libraries, development IDEs (Integrated Development Environments), and CI/CD frameworks.
- I would like candidates to have experience with software source control and configuration management tools.
- I ask for experience working in Windows and/or Linux operating systems, along with a background in a virtualized environment (managing VMs).
- If you are not based in the MD location, some short-term travel may be necessary to participate in quarterly PI Planning sessions in MD.
- A TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is necessary.
Responsibilities
- As my Software Engineer, you will engage in DevOps-related activities both independently and within an Agile team environment.
- Your tasks will involve designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks to ensure the quality and dependability of software applications.
- You will troubleshoot and debug automated tests to identify the root causes of failures and ensure test reliability.
- Collaborating closely with development teams to identify testable requirements will be key.
- You will implement automated testing solutions to ensure software is testable.
- Your roles will include writing and executing automated test scripts using various testing tools and frameworks, maintaining clear documentation, tracking issues, managing VMs, and utilizing CI/CD tools with basic system administration experience.
- Active participation in daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, and other associated team activities will also be required.
