Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- An active Top Secret clearance is necessary, along with the ability to acquire TS/SCI clearance prior to starting, and a willingness to obtain a Polygraph.
- You should have at least 3 years of experience with REACT or any modern JavaScript framework.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Python and C# development frameworks is essential.
- You need at least 3 years of experience with unit testing, continuous integration tools, and GitLab version control.
- I seek a proactive self-starter who demonstrates a positive attitude and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in software development projects or software integration projects within a service-oriented, cloud, or virtualization environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills are important; you should be capable of planning, prioritizing work, and following tasks to completion while maintaining attention to detail.
- You must possess effective communication skills to clearly and efficiently convey information to team members and clients in both verbal and written forms.
Responsibilities
- You will need to have a profound understanding of core AWS services including compute and storage, as well as the capability to develop and deploy core services such as Lambda and EC2.
- Proficiency in C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Shell scripting is required.
- This role involves creating and documenting both new and existing functionalities within software version control repositories (GitLab) and utilizing DevOps principles and tools to deliver new features using an Agile methodology.
- You will participate in Agile software development initiatives (standups, planning, and increment planning) to foster innovation and enhance custom applications through iteration and functionality testing, using Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Your primary responsibilities will include leveraging cloud computing expertise to administer and modify existing Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) code to integrate open-source software for display in a web application. This entails API development and database integration to work with Redux and React frameworks, employing various open-source packages for data visualization and filtering, along with code modifications adhering to best practices in unit and build testing.
- Collaboration with team members will be necessary to evaluate tickets and ensure proper testing and delivery of features according to User Story Acceptance Criteria.

- Preferred qualifications include a mindset geared towards AWS development solutions. - Experience of at least 3 years with Linux or Windows system administration is beneficial. - At least 2 years of experience with DoD Aeronautical Datasets and 1 year with AWS CloudFormation templates is advantageous. - Familiarity with Node, NPM, Swashbuckle, REST API, and Sass for at least a year is desired. - AWS Solutions, Developer, or DevOps certifications are also preferred. - Experience with team collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence is beneficial. - An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is highly regarded. - A DOD 8570 Compliant Certification (Sec+) is an added advantage.
