Requirements
Must:
- 8-12 years of prior relevant experience in software development.
- Current and active secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or another engineering or technical discipline.
- CISSP-ISSEP, FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, or SSCP certification may be substituted for the degree.
- Preferred: 6 years of Agile Development experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software for various engineering applications.
- Work with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements.
- Assist in developing tools and interfaces, and in the design, development, and testing of operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications.
- Assist in setting operational specifications and formulating and analyzing software requirements.
- Assist in designing embedded systems software.
- Analyze user needs and develop and design software solutions.
- Assist in coaching, mentoring, and reviewing the work of lower-level technical staff.
- Help manage teams and projects to achieve key project objectives and deliverables.
- Communicate with internal team members, stakeholders, and other sections to monitor delivery and achieve customer satisfaction for key project objectives and deliverables.
Description
We are looking for a Software Developer to join our National Security Sector at Leidos in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Fires Division's Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) and Post-Production Software Support (PPSS) Maintenance and Sustainment mission. In this mission, we provide engineering and technical services to the CECOM Software Engineering Center Mission Command Division, with operations based at Ft. Sill/Lawton, OK. You will be supporting our customer by creating capabilities and offering technical services and subject matter expertise in Mission Command, Fires, and C2 Maneuver systems. Your focus will include providing technical support to the Family of US Army’s FIRES Systems, including AFATDS, AN/TQP-53, and LCMR Q49A.
While subject to change based on business needs, we reasonably anticipate that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days. The anticipated close date is no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date. The pay range for this role is approximately $85,150.00 - $153,925.00, which is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation, as additional factors will be considered in extending an offer.
