Requirements

Must:
- I hold a Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience. - I have over 5 years of experience with object recognition and automation, including practical application in prototype and/or production systems. - I have experience with at least one relational database management system (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). - I am familiar with version control systems, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline). - I possess hands-on expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. - I have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams. - I can thrive in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment with the ability to travel up to 10% for stakeholder engagement, testing, and site visits. - I am able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (requiring three years of immediate residency in the U.S.). - I am legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship from the company.

Responsibilities

- I will participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment, ensuring alignment with agency standards and contractual obligations. - I am responsible for leading the delivery of software and system components that integrate object recognition and automation, while ensuring compliance with technical requirements and standards. - I will act as a technical lead on medium-to-large, complex projects in partnership with state and local agencies, overseeing the design, development, and delivery phases. - I will break down program and project-level requirements into actionable engineering tasks for efficient execution by the development team. - I will collaborate with program managers, contracting officers, and agency stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with mission objectives and regulatory frameworks. - I will ensure adherence to Agile processes, DecSecOps practices, and agency-mandated security and compliance guidelines. - I will develop and maintain documentation, reporting artifacts, and deliverables required by contract and oversight authorities. - I will mentor engineers on applying advanced technologies, automation practices, and security principles in government solutions. - I will proactively identify and address technical or programmatic issues that could affect contractual deliverables, working closely with leadership and stakeholders to eliminate barriers. - I will provide accurate cost, schedule, and performance estimates for development tasks and support reporting and audit activities to meet agency requirements.
