Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience. A High School diploma with additional years of experience and/or relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance.
- Experience with secure network programming in an Oracle environment; use of security certificates, HTTPS callouts, etc.
- Experience with the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, including the Oracle APEX toolset.
- Experience using Oracle Integrated Development Environments such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.
- Experience with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting with familiarity with built-in PLSQL packages and procedures.
- Experience with storage, efficient retrieval, and manipulation of unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in an Oracle environment.
- Experience establishing goals and meeting project plan objectives.
- Must be able to write and maintain system documentation on work products.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Agile development experience.
- Customer interface experience.
Responsibilities
- I will work at the direction of the program manager to support the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, primarily using the Oracle APEX toolset.
- I will perform advanced use of Oracle APEX 21 and above.
- I will work with Oracle Integrated Development Environments such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.
- I will design and manipulate web content dynamically using JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- I will create dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX environment and provide support in the advanced use of Oracle Database products version 11 and above.
- I will support Oracle database objects – tables, indexes, directories, sequences, triggers, etc.
- I will assist with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting, ensuring familiarity with built-in PLSQL packages and procedures.
- I will manage storage, efficient retrieval, and manipulation of unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in an Oracle environment.
- I will integrate and manage BI Publisher templates and web services.
- I will successfully deliver enterprise-level workflow-centric applications.
- I will build logical functions and algorithms to automate business processes.
Description
Leidos is hiring a Senior Oracle APEX Developer for the ESA V program, which is focused on IT applications and infrastructure services supporting various customers within the Department of Justice (DOJ). Our program provides a range of IT services, including software application support, enterprise infrastructure support, service desk, ITSM, deskside support, workstation engineering and maintenance, telecommunications and mobility engineering services, managed print services, Active Directory services, and video conferencing. The ideal candidate will be personable and articulate, ensuring that customer needs are met promptly and effectively. As a self-starter, you should be comfortable working with limited supervision. Excellent communication skills are necessary to interface effectively with customers, understand their requirements, and translate them into actionable tasks. This position is required to be onsite 4 days/32 hours a week in the Washington, DC metro area at one of the primary customer locations. The fifth day can be worked remotely from home. The pay range for this position is $104,650.00 - $189,175.00; this range serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation. Factors considered in extending an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
