Requirements

Must:
- I require an active Top Secret security clearance and eligibility for Top Secret – Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI), with adjudication by DIA or compatibility for reciprocal acceptance. - A bachelor’s degree alongside 12 years of previous IT experience is essential. Alternative work experience or Cybersecurity-related courses/certifications can substitute for the degree. - I expect a minimum of 5 years' experience in intrusion detection and/or incident handling. - Certifications in DoD 8570 IAT III and CSSP Infrastructure Support must be obtained prior to joining my team. - I value prior experience in supervising a diverse workforce across various labor categories and skills for projects of similar scale and complexity. - An advanced understanding of solution development techniques and industry best practices related to demonstration, pilot, and test management is critical. - I seek demonstrated experience in researching and implementing new technologies and advanced expertise in configuring cybersecurity tools to integrate events, alerts, and logs into SIEM technologies. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, along with effective written and verbal communication skills for creating detailed technical reports, are necessary.

- I will serve as a leader for personnel working at the Transport and End Point Services watch desk, conducting annual performance evaluations and periodic check-ins. - I will validate and approve time charges for both Leidos and vendor staff while providing coaching and mentoring to my team. - Development and execution of Continual Service Improvement technical strategies will be part of my role to enhance operational processes and achieve strategic project/program objectives. - I am expected to provide technical leadership at the JSP DCO Security Operations Center (SOC) and drive the implementation and adoption of new tools, capabilities, frameworks, and methodologies across all teams within the SOC. - I will offer technical guidance and support to the SOC lead and collaborate with the Security Infrastructure team to resolve issues related to SOC tools and data feeds. - Identifying and proposing solutions for gaps in capabilities and visibility is crucial, as well as promoting automation and efficiency in operational processes.

In this role, I am dedicated to providing IT products, services, and solutions to the Pentagon and other Department of Defense (DoD) offices and agencies, ensuring they meet their mission and operational needs as part of the J6 Penetration Handling, Incident, System Health (PHISH) support services task order on the GSM-O contract. My cybersecurity team is focused on conducting cyber defensive operations to prevent, detect, respond, and recover from adversarial threats. I am committed to ensuring the effective implementation and proper use of the tools and methodologies currently in place while also advocating for the integration of new technologies and operational frameworks. My role will require a proactive approach to leadership within the Security Operations Center, driving excellence in performance and continuous improvement across our cybersecurity initiatives.
