Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technical field preferred, with 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role with software development teams involving visual front-end components. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
- Valid Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Familiarity with SAFe methodology and Agile practices.
- Experience with task and ticket management platforms such as Gitlab.
- Proven capability to manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively.
- Strong knowledge and experience in software development within an Agile or SAFe framework.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport and foster a positive, motivated team atmosphere.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Responsibilities
- Guide a diverse, fast-moving Agile team through Scrum ceremonies to ensure discipline and efficiency.
- Conduct release and sprint planning activities to manage workflow effectively.
- Evaluate the Agile maturity level of the team and provide coaching to foster continuous improvement of the program.
- Identify and eliminate obstacles hindering team progress while encouraging self-sufficiency in problem-solving.
- Foster high team performance by enhancing dynamics and promoting self-organization.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making processes, and conflict resolution moments.
- Ensure thorough documentation practices within development and systems engineering teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions efficiently.
- Assist with both internal and external communication efforts to enhance transparency and information dissemination.
- Support the systems engineer in maintaining the team backlog while nurturing a healthy team environment regarding priorities and scope.
- Exhibit stellar interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving capabilities.
