Must:
- Safe Agilist Certification
- Scrum Alliance Scrum Master Certification
- Bachelor’s degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters 2-6 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience providing technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
- Direct experience using JIRA/Confluence toolset for progress reporting and metrics management
- Experience in any part of the software development lifecycle
- US Citizenship
Responsibilities
- Guiding and coaching the Scrum Team on Agile practices and principles
- Ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
- Coaching the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, and domain knowledge
- Facilitating and supporting all scrum events
- Resolving team impediments to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization
- Contributing to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization
Description
This role requires an experienced Agile Scrum Master to work in a Government IC environment. The position is located in Lorton, VA, with a pay range of $81,250.00 - $146,875.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement, or other law.
