Requirements
Must:
- I possess a High School diploma or GED with 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- I am capable of interpreting both PCBA and assembly drawings to fulfill customer needs.
- I have a solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes, especially regarding electro-mechanical assemblies and printed circuit board assembly.
- I understand SMT and Through Hole component processing requirements.
- I am knowledgeable about tooling calibration requirements and material shelf life constraints.
- I demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- I am organized, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple tasks successfully while maintaining a positive outlook.
- I have experience with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and software that manages bills of materials, product routings, and production data.
- I have worked with standards and their implementation across cross-functional teams.
- I am a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville, North Alabama.
- I understand that this is a second shift position.
Responsibilities
- I will closely collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering to ensure that SMT program development meets all criteria.
- I will support the implementation of engineering change orders (ECO) and deviations into both new and existing programs.
- I will review and support the Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and assembly instructions.
- I will assist in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to help develop machine programs and outputs from Factory Logix (Aegis).
- I will verify the completeness of customer-supplied PCBA documentation files.
- I will generate Pick and Place programs from CAD files provided by customers through PLM.
- I will perform programming on various types of equipment such as automated placement machines, screen printers, Koh Young SPI, and AOI used in product assembly.
- I will support process improvement initiatives by developing tooling, training, and documentation.
