RF Communications Signal Processing Test Engineer

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, along with at least 4 years of relevant experience in RF signal processing, communications, or Electronic Warfare (EW) environments. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and demonstrated experience in the following areas: - Strong understanding of RF concepts, including RF testing, propagation, schematics, and link budgets, particularly in relation to over-the-air signal detection. - Proficiency in communications waveform modulation theory, including techniques such as PSK and QAM. - Knowledge of Forward Error Correction (FEC) methods, including LDPC, turbo codes, and Reed-Solomon coding. - Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, such as spectrum/signal analyzers, function generators, and oscilloscopes. - Experience in radio testing in both laboratory and outdoor environments (e.g., field or flight testing). - Skilled in processing and interpreting complex data sets, with proficiency in object-oriented MATLAB programming or similar analytical tools. - U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Clearance, and eligibility for a Top Secret clearance are required. - You must either be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama, or be willing to relocate to the area.
