Requirements

Must:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or related field along with 4-8 years of experience, or a master's degree with 2-6 years of experience in program or project management. - Proven experience in program management across various functional domains. - Highly motivated, proactive, and well-organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and interface with external clients in a fast-paced environment. - Strong skills in project planning, resource management, risk management, and budget oversight. - Demonstrated capability in leading cross-functional teams and engaging with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. - Experience in overseeing project implementation, tracking progress towards objectives, and managing within defined scope, schedule, and budget. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting, proposal writing, and engaging stakeholders. - Familiarity with change management strategies and techniques. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project/Planner, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Focused on customer service and business outcomes, with a commitment to achieving quality results. - Superb interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills across all management levels. - Detail-oriented, with strong organizational abilities and the capacity to work independently with a sense of urgency. - A self-starter who can work independently and deliver on time-sensitive tasks with minimal direction. - Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust security clearance.

Responsibilities

- Develop detailed project plans defining scope, schedule, resource needs, budget, risk mitigation strategies, and communication methods. - Lead cross-functional project teams while ensuring alignment across technical, operational, and client-facing roles. - Monitor and track project progress using management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira). - Create project documentation utilizing pre-existing templates. - Provide weekly project status updates and review them with the government customer and program leadership. - Manage and report on project budgets, timelines, milestones, and contractual deliverables. - Coordinate internal resources to meet project specifications as determined by the project's scope, escalating any resource challenges to management as necessary. - Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and end users. - Deliver project status reports and updates, including the analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs). - Identify risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, developing effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans. - Ensure that all project activities align with organizational policies, industry best practices, and applicable regulations. - Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions, contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the organization. - Effectively communicate and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
