Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field with 2+ years of experience in penetration testing or a related security area. Alternatively, a Masters degree with some experience is acceptable. Relevant work experience may substitute for a degree. - Proficient in Linux environments (preferably Kali, Parrot, or similar distributions) and Windows operating systems. - Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash or Python. - Background in computer security, inclusive of forensics and systems analysis. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Must possess an active Secret clearance and be willing to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. - Preferred training or experience in penetration testing, reverse engineering, or system analysis. - Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and conveying findings to clients. - Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP networking architecture. - Experience in creating exploits using scripting languages, including Bash and Python. - Familiarity with scanning and analysis tools (e.g., nmap, nikto, Tenable Nessus). - Experience with exploitation tools like Metasploit and Cobalt Strike. - Completion or progress towards PenTest+, Security+, CySA+, CEH, OSCP, or similar technical certifications.

Responsibilities

- Conduct live penetration tests for clients and perform comprehensive preparatory analysis for the systems under assessment. - Recommend specific mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities. - Engage in testing throughout various phases of the system development and acquisition lifecycle. - Develop tools for application in both standalone and network-integrated systems. - Ensure the durability and resilience of client systems during testing phases. - Deliver timely updates on development progress, along with after-action reports following each red team activity.
