Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelor's degree with 12 to 15 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10 to 13 years of experience; a Doctorate in a technical field is also acceptable. Additional experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance.
- Familiarity with secure network programming in an Oracle environment, including the use of security certificates and HTTPS callouts.
- Experience with full lifecycle development of custom Oracle applications, inclusive of the Oracle APEX toolset.
- Proficiency in Oracle Integrated Development Environments such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.
- Knowledge of JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting, along with familiarity with built-in PL/SQL packages and procedures.
- Experience with the storage, efficient retrieval, and manipulation of unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in an Oracle environment.
- Proven track record of establishing goals and meeting project plan objectives.
- Expertise with data migration tools and methods.
- Capable of writing and maintaining documentation on system work products.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Background in Agile development methodologies.
- Experience engaging with customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the program manager to facilitate the complete lifecycle development of custom Oracle applications, primarily utilizing the Oracle APEX toolset.
- Utilize advanced features of Oracle APEX 21 and newer.
- Employ Oracle Integrated Development Environments such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer for various tasks.
- Design and dynamically manipulate web content through JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Generate dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX environment and provide expertise in using Oracle Database products version 11 and newer.
- Support Oracle database objects, such as tables, indexes, directories, sequences, and triggers.
- Assist with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting, ensuring familiarity with built-in PL/SQL packages and routines.
- Help manage the storage, retrieval, and manipulation of unstructured data within the Oracle environment.
- Integrate and oversee BI Publisher templates and web services.
- Analyze existing Oracle Forms applications and devise migration plans to scalable and secure web applications employing Oracle APEX.
- Develop APIs and establish connections to external applications.
- Successfully deliver enterprise-level workflow-centric applications.
- Create logical functions and algorithms to automate business processes.
Description
This position requires on-site presence for 4 days and 32 hours a week in the Washington, DC metro area at one of our primary customer locations, with the flexibility to work remotely from home one day a week. We are seeking a personable and articulate candidate focused on efficiently addressing customer needs. The ideal applicant will be a self-starter capable of operating with minimal supervision and will possess excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with customers to grasp their requirements and transform them into actionable tasks. We anticipate this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days from the original posting date. The expected pay range for this position is between $126,100.00 and $227,950.00, reflecting general guidelines and not guaranteed compensation. Factors influencing the final offer may include job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
